OSU Student Foundation

The OSU Student Foundation was created in 2007, incorporating its design from several highly successful student foundation organizations across the country. After seeing a need for increased student interaction with donors and alumni, the OSU Foundation created StuFu. Our students serve as ambassadors of the Foundation, participating in Foundation events and using their talents to thank those who have chosen to invest in OSU's bright future.

Purpose
The purpose of the OSU Student Foundation is to serve Oklahoma State University by building, cultivating and sustaining relationships within the OSU community and to educate the student body about the impact and importance of charitable giving.

StuFu acts as a bridge connecting the student body, community, donors and the OSU Foundation.

Committees
Focused on donor relations, campus promotions, membership and freshmen involvement, StuFu committees give members an inside glimpse into the entire philanthropic process. Each committee has its own responsibilities and goals, but all work together to advance and achieve StuFu's purpose.

The Executive Committee is responsible for setting the goals of StuFu. It meets regularly to evaluate each member of the Student Foundation and organize the Student Foundation’s bi-weekly general meetings. The executive committee consists of the president, vice president and committee chairpersons.

The Donor Relations Committee is responsible for establishing and maintaining a good rapport between members of StuFu and members of the OSU Foundation. It works directly with the OSU Foundation development staff to build, cultivate and sustain donor relationships.

The Campus Promotions Committee is responsible for coordinating events for students and the OSU community in order to increase communication, education and enthusiasm within the student body about charitable giving. It hosts and promotes all StuFu fundraisers both on and off campus.

The Membership Committee is responsible for providing vision and coordination for StuFu. It develops and coordinates recruitment activities, member orientation and internal relations while maintaining member morale and enthusiasm.

The Freshman Committee is responsible for bringing creativity to the organization. It participates and cooperates with all StuFu committees to develop and execute projects and initiatives that will add value to the organization.
